Tulchan is a leading financial communications advisory firm. We specialise in advising companies on building and maintaining their reputation within the Capital Markets and the financial media that reports and comments upon them. We also help our clients engage with regulatory and political audiences on a range of public policy issues.
We believe that capital markets are one of the most powerful determinants of corporate reputation. How a company, and its management, communicates with these markets and the media that comment upon them makes a significant difference to the reputation they build. We have deep experience of ‘critical communications’ – advising companies through times of significant stress and public interest when time is short, scrutiny is intense and the outcome is vitally important. However, the markets and the media must not be seen in isolation; the political climate is one of both challenge and opportunity and we help our clients to engage effectively and positively with stakeholders to navigate an often complex and shifting policy framework.
To advise our clients we combine a deep understanding of the needs and expectations of investors and analysts with very strong financial media relationships and government affairs experience. It is this integrated combination of investor relations, media relations and policy expertise that sets our approach apart.
We work for many of the UK’s leading companies – both Public and Private – and have built a strong reputation for the quality and integrity of our advice and the professionalism of our people and service.
There are a number of specialist service offerings within the Tulchan Group. Tulchan Communications, with offices in London and Singapore, specialises in financial communications. Vox Media provides coaching for senior executives prior to significant internal and external presentations and media appearances. Vox also produces corporate films for posting online or on the corporate website and intranet. Investor Perceptions, a sister company, produces independent audits of Institutional investor opinion. These are used by the IR team and the executive to better understand the views of investors, both holders and non-holders. Critically these reports are increasingly used by the Board as a vital Governance tool.
Each firm is a leader in its own specialist field. Together they represent an unrivaled depth of experience and a complete communications capability.
